2024 Winter I - Youth League openings
Flying Fives Fieldhouse in Groveport OH is excited to offer Winter Session 1 – 5-a-side leagues for U8, U10 and U12 Girls and Boys.
5-a-side soccer allows 5 players per team on the pitch at a time with one of them as goalkeeper.
This registration is for Teams only. Individuals may reach out to info@flyingfives.com to seek teams needing additional players.
Game Days/Times: Saturdays from 8AM to 8 PM starting 11/2/2024
Games are continuous weekends from 11/2 – 12/21 (no bye week)
40 minute continuous games w/ NO half time.
8 game season
Ref Fees are $10 per team prior to the start of the game. Games will not start until fee is paid.
There are no minimum players per team – Maximum players per team is 10

Game day-
All kids under 18 are required to be wearing shin guards in order to play.
Cleats – All flats, turf shoes and molded cleats are welcome. NO METAL Cleats allowed.

Fall 2024 League openings (closed)
Fall Tuesday or Thursday Night 5-a-side 18+ Coed
This is a coed league with no requirements for how many of men or women are to be in play at any time.
This season is a 6 week – 6 game season with a 7th week 2-game single elimination playoff for the top 4 teams by points and if needed goal differential.
Games will start on 8/20/2024 and the season is expected to be complete by 9/24/24.
Games will start 6pm with final games starting no later than 10pm.
Games are 40 minutes continuous with no halftime.
Minimum players on the field are 4.
Recommended players per team at 8 with maximum players per team at 10.
Costs are $505 per team
Referees will be scheduled for this league and referee fees are $10 per team per game and not included in the season fees.

5-A-Side (Simplified rules)
5v5 Matches are 40 min in length with no breaks or stoppage time for adults
5 players are allowed on the pitch Per team including 1 goalkeeper
Subs are on the fly unless the sub is a goalkeeper. A 10 second pause will be allowed for goalkeeper subs.
Kickoff at start is decided by coin toss
After each goal players from scoring team will retreat to their half with goalkeeper restarting the game from within their own penalty area.
No offside
no slide tackling
No throw ins – all out of bounds play restarts with indirect kick. opposing team must give 5 ft for continued play.
