What is 5-A-Side ?
5-A-Side is a modified version of soccer where there are 5 players per team on the field at a time. Of the 5 players one can be considered a goalkeeper.
Is there an AED at Flying Fives Fieldhouse?
Yes! We have an AED on the wall near the office. There is a sign overhead to quickly find and access the AED. We are currently receiving monthly service to be sure the AED is always ready for use.
Our staff has received training to use the AED, but also know that the AED itself provides instructions for anyone to use when turned on.
What kind of shoes can be worn?
Our non-infill turf was specifically selected to allow molded cleats to be used. Any rubber sole flat, turf or molded cleats are allowed.
Metal cleats will not be allowed.
What kind of uniform are required for games?
Each team should be prepared to with a dark and light color option to be able to accomodate the oppositions colors. Each team member of the same team needs to have a like and similar color to their teammates. Numbers are not required.
Are shin guards required?
For adults, shin guards are not required, but recommended.
For kids up to age 18, shing guards are required for games.
For kids training, shin guards are not required unless there is scrimmaging.
